True Life Banquet 2024
On October 10th, we gathered for an unforgettable evening at the True Life Youth Ministries Annual Banquet. It was a night filled with laughter, heartfelt stories, and a shared vision for the future of our youth. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as nearly 200 guests—long-time supporters, new friends, families, and volunteers—came together to celebrate the impact of True Life over the past year.
As the evening unfolded, we were reminded that True Life is more than just a name; it represents a promise to the youth in our community. Through programs like summer discipleship, weekly clubs, sports leagues, and our new education initiatives, we are guiding young people toward their True Life in Christ. This banquet was a celebration of how far we've come—and an invitation to dream about what’s next.
The highlight of the night came when Alec, a sophomore from Lebanon High School, took the stage to share his story. With courage and humility, he spoke of the struggles he faced before finding a community here at True Life—a place where he felt seen, supported, and loved. His testimony of transformation, and how it led to his baptism earlier this year, brought tears to the eyes of many in the room. Alec’s story was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
As our Executive Director, Paul, shared the vision for 2025, there was a palpable sense of excitement and hope. We outlined our plans to expand our outreach through sports and education, making True Life a place where even more youth from challenging backgrounds can find belonging and purpose. But we cannot do this alone—we need your partnership.
This year’s banquet set the stage for new beginnings. It is our prayer that you’ll join us in this next chapter, helping us to reach even more young people like Alec with the hope and love they need. By making a gift today, you’re not just donating to a program—you’re changing a life, building a community, and being a part of a story that will impact generations.
Will you be a part of the True Life story? Your generosity can make a difference.
